Low Ceiling

A cool, rainy evening awaited those arriving in Duluth for the weekend.  The tour boat, Vista Star went out a couple of times, but I’m guessing sightseeing was not the priority for those on the cruises.  As the night persisted, the rain continued and the cloud ceiling slowly dropped lower over the harbor.  By 1 A.M. the Ariel Lift Bridge was almost completely hidden by the fog and the quiet of the early morning was broken only by the sound of the foghorn.
